ANTHEM FOR PUBLIC HEALTHCARE
I had the honour of being hired by the Ontario Health Coalition to compose a chantable anthem/song for public healthcare/to stop the privatization of it, to be used at their May 28th rally/protest. I got to teach it and play it in front of thousands of people from across the province at this amazing and important event full of great speakers and supporters and information, and I am so glad to have been part of the movement. “For people, not profit!”

I'm very excited to share this project with you all! This album was fully created by me in my apartment from start to finish. It explores themes of politics, self-reflection, progression, social commentary, and mental health. There are several genres going on here, but the best genre label for the album is probably alt-pop.
Composition, lyrics, production, orchestration, performance (instruments and singing), recording, editing, programming, mixing, and mastering by Sarah Basciano.
